Carol Brooks

Carol Brooks – Managing Director

BSc. Psychology, MSc. Organisational Psychology

 

Carol is a Business and Cyber Psychologist. She has 17 years of experience in the public and academic sectors at board level and 15 years of experience providing consultancy, training and development within law enforcement, including Counter Terrorism and Serious and Organised Crime, at both local and national levels.

Carol combines her specialist background in psychology with her experience supporting countering terrorism and serious and organised crime. She is an experienced and skilled facilitator, broker and team/individual coach.

She has regularly designed development programmes for both counter-terrorism and serious and organised crime practitioners and senior leaders.

Carol is a member of the British Psychological Society and the Association for Business Psychology.

Jon Blake

Jon Blake – Director of Cyber, Investigations & Intelligence

MBCS

 

Jon has over 25 years of detective experience as an investigator and covert intelligence operative with the Metropolitan Police Service, New Scotland Yard, London. He retired from the police service in 2014 with an exemplary service record. His last police posting was as a national coordinator for Internet Intelligence and Investigations at the UK College of Policing. He was a member of numerous UK police national working groups, setting policy and standards, and best practices.

He specialises in Cyber and Information Security, Internet and Cybercrime Investigation, and Covert Investigation and is the co-author of the 2019 UK police Cybercrime Investigators manual.

Jon has provided cyber and Internet investigation training and consultancy in over 40 countries, representing organisations such as the United Nations, UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and private and public sector organisations.

Jon is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and university lecturer, and regularly undertakes speaking engagements in the UK and overseas. He holds several cyber industry certifications.

He is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) and a member of the British Psychological Society, Cyber-psychology section and a professional member of the British Computer Society.

Sean Riley

Sean Riley – Board Member and Consultant

BSc Psychology MSc Occupational Psychology MCGI MBPsS

 

Sean is an accomplished work and organisational psychologist, specialising in psychological diagnostics of the workplace. He advises the Platinum 3P board on psychological, behavioural and team issues and peer reviews our work.

Having served over 30 years as an Army Officer, he has extensive experience as a leadership practitioner, which is complemented by his thorough knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of training and developmental change programs in a multitude of cross-cultural, global environments.  Sean’s interest in psychology was borne out of curiosity, passion for people and a desire to create and implement the best working environment with often limited resources.

Sean is a registered psychometric test user with the British Psychological Society and is trained in a variety of leading psychometric tools.

He is an active member of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Occupational Psychology, where he enjoys constantly refreshing his skills with current research.

 

 

Tony Mole

Tony Mole – Board Member and Consultant

LL.B.

 

Tony has had a successful and varied career in criminal investigation and counter-terrorism and led numerous high-threat and high-profile incidents.

He is a highly experienced leader working in partnership with Government and Security agencies.

He has been influential in the development of operational practices and threat mitigation for the National Counter Terrorism network and Regional Police Forces during the most rapid change and highest threat environment in recent years. Very experienced in Media preparation and presentation locally, nationally and internationally.

Tony has worked closely with colleagues in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Australian Federal Police (AFP) and other Organisations across the world in the counter-terrorism field. Currently an active member of the Leadership in Counter-Terrorism development programme (Graduated 2014) and organiser of the UK alumni and a Panel Member at the General Dental Council.

 

 

Rod Stokes – Board Member and Consultant

Rod has over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, with 15 years as a serving police officer in the UK.

Rod advises the Platinum 3P Board on Financial Investigation, Anti-Corruption, Asset Recovery & Anti-Money Laundering issues.

He has been a team member, manager, trainer and mentor to hundreds of investigators, prosecutors and Judges in over 32 countries in a transnational organised crime setting both globally and specifically across the Caribbean, Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Rod specialises in financial investigation, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering and is a specialist consultant for the UK’s FCO, NCA and DfID plus international organisations such as the UN, OSCE, GIZ and individual Embassies and private companies.

Rod holds a diploma in training and several professional awards and has designed and delivered over 42 training courses for 12 donor agencies.

 

 

Dr Stephen Brookes – Board Member and Consultant

 

Stephen is the CEO and Founder of Compass Leadership Limited, providing international research, executive leadership development and bespoke total learning solutions across the public and private sectors.

After serving in the Royal Navy, he spent thirty years in policing and the Home Office. Stephen pioneered policing and community safety improvements, for which he was awarded the Queens Police Medal in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours, 2002 for distinguished police service.

Following his PhD award in 2006, Stephen joined the University of Manchester Business School, researching, teaching and consulting on leadership and negotiation (Associate Professor (Reader) from 2019), now holding Honorary status).
